Collaborations

HRLN is currently working with the 9 local government Councils of the Hunter and the Hunter Joint Organisation, to bridge the gap between the work that Landcarers do in the field, and each Council’s strategic plans for the management of their natural areas.

As part of this collaboration we are working to establish memoranda of understanding (MoU) that set out clear directions and support for all Landcare works on Council lands.

Please view our established memoranda of understanding below. More will follow.

Corporate Partnership Opportunities

Landcare is a grassroots movement dedicated to the care of our land, environment and the people who invest their time in the sustainable management of our natural resources.

Landcare has a community-driven approach focusing on improving the resilience of the environment now and into the future.

The Hunter Region Landcare Network (HRLN) is the representative body of all Landcare Groups and activities in the Hunter region. We are a non-profit organisation representing Landcare in the Hunter region at the State and Federal level. We act as a conduit between local Landcare volunteers and our key decision makers, to ensure groups are supported by providing resources and a voice for Landcare in the region.

Why partner with the Hunter Region Landcare Network?

HRLN can work with your organisation to develop a partnership package that suits your organisational goals and values, and level of investment in sustainability.

Your organisation can build valuable social capital whilst positioning yourselves as an organisation with clear sustainability and environmental goals, providing benefits to your business and brand reputation.
