These grants are for projects about flora and fauna conservation around Australia. Grants are issued four times a year, every year – February, May, August and November. These projects should involve any of the following:
- monitoring, recording and sharing data
- delivering community education
- providing community capacity building (e.g. training)
- research and science
-Projects must be directly making positive changes to biodiversity conservation in Australia.
-Projects should have some short term outputs, but also have long term objectives and values.

Grants can be anywhere between $2,000 and $15,000. Larger grants will be considered.
Here are dates when the rounds open and the application form appears online:
- 24th March 2025 for funding in May 2025
- 23rd June 2025 for funding in August 2025
- 22nd September 2025 for funding in November 2025
- 8th December 2025 for funding in February 2026
