Pesticide Use in Hunter Water’s Drinking Water Catchments

Advisian is gathering information on behalf of Hunter Water Corporation on insecticides, herbicides and fungicides currently being used in the drinking water catchments.

Advisian has contacted Hunter Region Landcare to request data from Landcare groups and individuals that carry out these activities within the catchment area.

This information will be used to help review Hunter Water Corporation’s current Pesticides Monitoring Program and Health Risk Assessment for the region’s drinking water supplies as required under the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.
