Last month saw the revival of Kotara Park Landcare with the help of Scout Groups from Kotara, Maryland and Shortland.
With the help of Newcastle Council in supplying plants and tools, Hunter Region Landcare Network supported 50 volunteers to plant 800 plants, removed 120L of dumped rubbish, and celebrated with a BBQ lunch cooked by Scout Leaders Bruce and helpers.
