In recent months, a collective of wineries in the Pokolbin region have started a new Landcare group. The Hunter Valley Wine Country Landcare Group have come together to plan and action a whole range of sustainability principles into their viticulture operations including planting for pollinators, preserving patches of existing native vegetation for biodiversity, and developing agri-eco tourism opportunities in the region.
