The first meeting of what became McCullys Gap Rehabilitation & Sustainability Community Care Group Inc. was initiated by Therese and Steve Moffitt who invited local landowners and guest speakers to inform us about forming a Landcare group.
Our first challenge was finding out our name had already been registered by a defunct previous group, so we had to come up with a new name. We have undertaken no activities to date; we have only just registered our group. Our interests include weed control, riparian zone rehabilitation, dam repair and sustainable farming.
The benefit of being in our group is meeting like-minded people in our area with similar concerns.
