Taking place in schools, during National Biodiversity Month (September), in the week of September 7th (National Threatened Species Day).
B&B BioBlitz, coordinated by NFP Planting Seeds Projects, is calling on school Citizen Scientists to help gather information about Australia’s Biodiversity.

• BioBlitzes and citizen science help develop STEM skills with links to curriculum
• Participating in citizen science by everyday Australians helps scientists to fill information gaps, identify species, understand species’ declines and help regeneration strategies
• B&B BioBlitz is co-ordinated by NFP PlantingSeeds Projects and its regenerative and educational B&B Highway – Bed & Breakfasts for birds, bees and biodiversity
• Supported by NSW Dept of Education, CSIRO’s Atlas of Living Australia, Australian Citizen Science Association, Environmental and Zoo Education Centres, Landcare, & Action4Agriculture and Optus
• Participating schools will receive teacher support and curriculum links and activities
• Photography competition with Smartphone prizes thanks to Optus
