Invasive Grasses Workshop – Dungog

Hunter Local Land Services along with Landcare are facilitating three community workshops in the Lower Hunter to raise awareness of invasive grass species with particular discussion around Coolatai grass.
These workshops will provide land managers with identification skills on Coolatai grass and high priority invasives species along with common look- a-likes! Other areas that will be discussed include:
- Weed management including herbicide control
- Pasture and livestock management
- Property biosecurity and hygiene
- Hunter Regional Strategic Weed Management Plan
- Landholder responsibilities in weed management
- Community funding opportunities
Spaces are limited with priority given to primary producers followed by community group members.
