Indigenous Plants for Health – AGM and Spring Equinox Event

This field day includes a plant medicine walk, a demonstration of the distillation of native flora, permaculture with native plants, a lichen walk and talk, smoking ceremony, and more.

11.30 am Distillation demonstration – Rob Santich /Andrew Pengelly

12.30 pm Lunch

1.30 pm Lichens and dyeing – Kathleen Bennett

2.30 pm Distillation check-in

3.00 pm Afternoon Tea

3.30 pm Permaculture with natives – Reesa Ryan. Garden walk

4.30 pm AGM

6.00 pm Dinner

7.15 pm Smoking Ceremony – Uncle Bill Smith Aboriginal Elder (Wonaruah, Aniwan, Kamilaroi).

Full cost. Incl. lunch, dinner, morning and afternoon teas $80 pp. (IPHA Members $70)

AGM and dinner only $30 (IPHA members $20)

Daytime events only, not incl. AGM, dinner or smoking ceremony $50 (IPHA members $40)

Camping: $20 pp. Other accommodation costs upon inquiry.

The venue is approx. 1.5hr drive from Sydney, 1 hr. from the Hunter Valley
