Eucalypt Australia has announced two new grant rounds for 2026:
1) Eucalypt Australia Research grants valued at $25,000 per annum for up to two years.
- Focus area: Eucalypts – including (but not limited to) ecology, conservation, genetics, taxonomy, history, cultural significance, or sustainable use.
- Eligibility: Researchers based in Australia.
- Project period: Typically up to 12 months, but can be extended to $50,000 over two years as applicable.
- Applications open on Monday 15th June 2026 and close on Tuesday 11th August 2026.
2) Eucalypt Australia Community Based Grants valued at $5,000 each.
- Focus area: Eucalypts – including (but not limited to) ecology, conservation, genetics, taxonomy, history, cultural significance, or sustainable use
- Eligibility: Applicants must be an Australian legal entity with an ABN and a bank account, or be able to be auspiced through another entity with an ABN and a bank account, as approved by Eucalypt Australia.
- Project period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.
- Applications open on Monday 15th June 2026 and close on Tuesday 11th August 2026.
