If you are looking for funding to complete a project or have a project in mind that you can’t achieve without assistance, we’re here to help. Aurizon Community Giving Fund applications are now open, offering grants of up to $20,000 to eligible charities in communities where we live and work.
Aurizon is Australia’s largest rail freight operator and an ASX-listed company. They transport a wide range of different commodities, including mining, agricultural, industrial and retail products. There are four major businesses — Network, Coal, Bulk and Containerised Freight —and are also a leading specialist in rail design, engineering, construction, management and maintenance.

Who is eligible for a grant?
- Non-profit organisations that hold an approved deductible gift recipient (DGR) status charity from the Australian Tax Office. If you are unsure of your organisation’s tax status, check with your financial advisor and the Australian Government’s ABN Lookup website.
- The Aurizon Community Giving Fund is focused on the broad areas of health and wellbeing, community safety, environment and education. All applications for our Community Giving Fund grant must fit within at least one of these funding categories to be eligible for consideration.
- Cash grants are only available for projects in the areas in which Aurizon operates. View our areas of operation and eligible grant locations on the map on their website.
