Alpha First Aid Grants 2026

To enable community centres, clubs, and not-for-profit organisations, no matter the size, to acquire your own Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Promoting the accessibility of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in community centres, clubs, and organisations is crucial for emergency preparedness. However, the high cost of acquiring a defibrillator often poses a barrier, leaving individuals in these settings vulnerable during emergencies.
Applicants must be a community group, community sports club, non for profit, or charity.  The $500 grant cannot be combined with any other discount or sales promotion.

What is not included?

  • Cost of shipping
  • Accredited CPR, First Aid, ongoing or additional face to face AED familiarisation instruction
  • Out of warranty repair of equipment
  • Replacement costs of consumables including batteries & electrode pads
  • Replacement or temporary replacement of the AED if it is damaged or unrecoverable through wear and tear, vandalism, accident, theft or misuse
  • General first aid maintenance items or equipment (items requiring cleaning and disinfecting after use)

Grants of up to $500.  Applications are ongoing.
