We encourage all environmental educators working in NSW to nominate yourself or perhaps a hero, a mentor, or a collaborator. It might be someone who actively inspires others or someone who beavers away relentlessly (we won’t say ‘tirelessly’) in the background. We seek to recognise and celebrate these valuable contributions.
We acknowledge the times in which these awards are located, when there is suffering and loss, and at the same time growth, abundance and opportunity. Through these awards we come together as environmental educators to amplify the stories not heard, to celebrate our shared tenacity, and to keep on passing the baton.
