Come and join us to get our hands dirty and plant 300 native trees and shrubs that will contribute to the regeneration of your local bushland and provide habitat for native fauna species.
The project is funded by State government – Department of Regional NSW as part of the delivery of the Resources for Regions – Round 7 grant.
Council wants to use the funds available to develop Weblands Reserve into a passive community space for the benefit of local residents. This will be an opportunity for you to share with council staff your vision for the future of this reserve.
We are providing tools for the planting event, and all participants will be given their own seedlings to plant in their backyard and create habitat for native birds.
Please wear enclosed shoes and a hat and bring your own pair of gloves, plenty of water and sunscreen.
