National Tree Day – Save the Date

There are many events going on around the Hunter region this year for National Tree Day, with Schools Tree Day on Friday 28th July, and National Tree Day on Sunday 30th July. Take your family and friends to a site near you or register a site (or your school) and encourage others to join you!

City of Newcastle National Tree Day Community planting event will take place on Sunday 31 July 2023 at Ironbark Creek from 9am – 12pm. Come and celebrate the recently restored section of creek in need of a few thousand more plants and many helping hands. There will be live music, creek tours, family-friendly activities, and a BBQ. Access from Lewis Street opposite Allendale Avenue, Wallsend.
