Green & Golden Bell Frog Habitat Planting & Survey – 23rd of March

23 March 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Join us at Ash Island where we will be planting out a habitat corridor for the endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog (Litoria aurea). The planting session will be followed by dinner (provided) as well as the opportunity to go frogging after dark with conservation biologist Dr Alex Callen and her colleagues from the University of Newcastle.

The project is a collaboration with National Parks & Wildlife Service (NPWS) and is a continuation of an existing project, so you will get to see the progress already made to increase bell frog habitat availability and quality.
Wear long sleeves, pants, sturdy shoes, a hat, and gloves. And don’t forget sunscreen and insect repellent! All planting tools and materials will be provided.

Registration via the National Parks VIP System is compulsory for attendance (details will be sent to participants on how to register).
