Hear from Sam Porter, Port Stephens Council’s Invasive Species Officer about the most significant weeds in your area and the support and assistance council can provide you to help reduce the spread of weeds. Meet your Hunter Local Land Services Biosecurity Officer and District Veterinarian who will explain your responsibilities in controlling pest animals and the reporting of livestock diseases. Where possible bring along a weed or two from your own property for identification (please include flowers, leaves, seeds and roots in a sealed container).
This event is supported by the Hunter Catchment Contributions Fund.
