Annual General Meeting and call for nominations
The Hunter Region Landcare Network (HRLN) is a network supporting the Landcare groups of our region. We are an incorporated association; we host field days and workshops across the region, and manage a website and email communications program to keep our member groups informed about Landcare matters. We provide representation between Landcare supporters, and state and national Landcare structures. We are the host organisation managing the region’s Local Landcare Coordinator Initiative.
The network is managed by a committee consisting of chairperson, deputy-chairperson, secretary, treasurer and management committee members, who meet monthly to undertake the business of the network.
To do this we need members to contribute to the management committee. If you have an interest in being part of our team, please consider nominating for a role.
To be considered for the management committee a member must be nominated by a proposer and seconder who are HRLN members. The nominee must give their written consent to their nomination (which may be endorsed on the nomination form).
The nomination form for the election of office bearers and committee members is attached. Completed forms must be received by 5pm on Friday 15th September 2017. Nomination forms may be posted to the Secretary HRLN at the postal address above, or forms may be scanned and emailed to the email address above.
The election will take place at the Annual General Meeting of HRLN to be held on 23rd September 2017 at 10am at Singleton Golf Club, 51 Boundary Street, Singleton. The AGM will be followed by lunch at the Club.
