‘Weeding in the She-Oaks’ with John Darling Landcare Group

John Darling Landcare Group are looking for keen Landcarers to help remove noxious weeds within the endangered vegetation community – Swamp Oak Floodplain Forest, on the edge of Belmont Wetlands State Park.

An ecologist from Conservation Volunteers Australia will be joining us, so this is a great opportunity to learn more about this significant vegetation community, and to brush up on some
weed control techniques.

All are welcome, particularly local residents, morning tea provided.

Saturday 2nd December, 9:00am –11:00am

Meet at the end of John Darling Ave, Belmont North

Wear sturdy footwear, hat, long sleeves, long pants, sunscreen, insect repellant.
