Hunter Wetlands Centre Super Saturday Session

Hunter Wetlands Centre Join us for a tour of Hunter Wetlands Centre with local guru Paddy Lightfoot. Learn about the history of the centre and the site’s transformation from a dump into an internationally important wetland. John Dale from Hunter Wetland Centre will also talk on the predator proof fence and drought conditions experienced this year. Enjoy lunching with Landcarers followed by some bird-watching with local bird observers.
A minibus will be travelling to the Wetland Centre from the Landcare Resource Centre. Please advise if you would like to catch this bus or drive separately when you RSVP.
When: Saturday 12 May, 10am – 2pm
Where: Meet at Hunter Wetland Centre or travel by minibus from Landcare Resource Centre (bus leaves at 9:15, returns at 2:30pm)
Cost: Free – including light lunch, entry and tour (drinks from café at own cost).
Numbers are strictly limited so please RSVP by Friday, 4 May to the Landcare Resource Centre on 4921 0392. Please bring your own water bottle, wear closed in shoes and sun protective clothing.
