A number of excited Landcare groups turned up with empty trailers and utes for the Hollow Log Giveaway this March.  Many logs are already in place and waiting for their new residents to move in.

We have some log hollows still remaining. Please get in touch if your Landcare site is in need of some habitat to bring the wildlife in. The logs are perfect for placing on the ground for mammals and lizards or cutting to size to make bird or possum boxes. Priority is given to member groups. Please e-mail our Regional Landcare Co-ordinator, Jo, at rlc@hunterlandcare.org.au to arrange collection from Hunter Wetlands Centre, Shortland.

It would be great to get some wildlife cameras set up to record who comes to visit the logs.  HRLN are able to loan cameras to member groups.
