The Friends of Church Walk Park Landcare group is located in The Hill, Newcastle. They recently celebrated 100 years since the Park was established by the City of Newcastle Council.
An art deco themed community open day attracted over 120 people. Activities included guided tours of the Park, an art display, a local three piece jazz band and free tubestock to plant in the Park or taken home. New Park information brochures were available.
