Earthcare Park Landcare’s ‘Habitat Haven in the Park’ project has received funding of $14,150, enabling vital conservation efforts in the area. This initiative focuses on planting 4,000 locally indigenous tubestock, with an emphasis on restoring native grass and understory species. These plants play a crucial role in re-establishing essential habitats and food resources for local fauna, supporting biodiversity and strengthening ecological resilience.
The project aims to transform the park into a thriving natural sanctuary, fostering a healthier ecosystem for wildlife while enhancing the area’s natural beauty. Community involvement is key to its success, and Earthcare Park Landcare welcomes volunteers to join in the restoration efforts.
