These training events were run by HRLN this winter with sponsorship from Local Land Services Hunter Catchment Contributions. We focused on riparian weeds and upskilling Landcarers to identify and tackle them efficiently and effectively. Why waste your efforts?! Participants learnt different techniques suitable for treating weeds with different growth forms and tried out the methods. We also covered current Regional Priority Weeds and what to do with dead weeds and their seeds. Thanks for the support from Cessnock City Council, Muswellbrook Shire Council and Singleton Shire Council to get more of this key knowledge out into the community and out into the field.
