This theory and practical workshop is brought to you by Singleton Shire Landcare Network.

The Presenter is Dr. Tobias Smith from Sugarbag Bees in Queensland.

Dr. Tobias Smith holds a PhD from the University of Queensland, is currently a part-time pollinator researcher at the University of New England, founder & director of Bee Aware Brisbane, an organisation that aims to increase awareness of native bees & their conservation in South East Queensland.

Dr. Smith is also a native bee keeper, keeping hives in urban gardens around Brisbane & northern NSW. He is author of a chapter on creating nest sites for native bees in NSW AgGuide in Native bees.  Dr. Smith is an engaging & passionate educator, & has been presenting workshops for Sugarbag Bees since 2014.
