Spring is the time to refresh your garden ready for summer and the Newcastle branch of the Australian Plant Society is ready to help you find native plants suitable for local gardens.
Come along to Hunter Wetlands Centre on Saturday 24th September from 9.30am to 2.00pm for a giant native plant sale. Plants are only $3.00 each.
With 1,800 plants in more than 100 varieties, there is something for every garden. Members of the Society will be on hand to offer information and advice. Many of the plants on sale have been planted nearby so visitors will be able to see them in bloom before they buy.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a sausage sizzle or pick up a coffee and cake. We will also be selling some Wetlands merch including wetland caps and hanging baskets.
This plant sale is a fund-raiser for the Plant Society and Hunter Wetlands Centre and entry is by donation.
