Hunter Local Land Services (HLLS) and Hunter Region Landcare Network (HRLN) is hosting a FREE Feral Animal Information Day, designed to improve landholder skills and knowledge in feral animal control techniques. Stuart Boyd-Law from Pest Animal Control and Training will cover:
• Why manage feral animals in the Hunter
• Techniques in identifying feral animal signs including: foxes, rabbits,feral cats and wild dogs
• Evaluating the threat to native animals and livestock
• Hands-on practice in setting up and monitoring traps
• Requirements to plan an effective, coordinated control program
