July 27 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
EarthFest is an initiative of Sustainable Education and the local region of the Upper Hunter, New South Wales. Partnering with Upper Hunter Shire Council and the Segenhoe Inn to produce an event that not only showcases the local area, but raises awareness and much needed funds to help families in these catastrophic drought conditions the region is facing.
The event will be hosted at the historical Segenhoe Inn, in Aberdeen and you can expect to enjoy a family friendly festival, showcasing local artisans, great food, live entertainment, and workshops.
Come along to one of the events and meet Costa Georgiadis, DirtGirl + Scrapboy
EarthFest will run over TWO BIG DAYS, starting with Costa Georgiadis on Friday 26th July (National Tree Day), visiting the local schools, and chatting with the community about the drought impact and sustainability. COSTA will then be facilitating a Community WORKSHOP at the Segenhoe Inn on the Friday afternoon at 3pm. This is a free event, however we will be passing the hat around for Gold Coin Donations.
You must register for this event as seats are limited and you can do that here, simply click on the link. https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/earth-fest-costas-workshop-tickets-61759541451
Saturday 27th July will be jammed packed with festivities. We will have local artisans showcasing their craft, buskers, food and workshops in sustainability but the highlight will be sharing the day with DIRTGIRL and SCRAPBOY, who will be there sharing the stage with one of their famous workshops for the kids and big kids alike. Taking time out to meet the locals and talk about what is important to them in this time of need. Not to mention it is National Tree Day, so to celebrate, come along and plant a tree.
