It is important to note that activities that modify a watercourse, including erosion control works, require regulatory approval. River processes are complex and locally unique. To avoid wasting time and resources in incorrect management, or inadvertently creating further damage, seek technical knowledge from a qualified river practitioner by contacting Local Land Services to discuss your riverbank erosion concerns.
