The Environmental Trust’s Environmental Education program aims to:
- drive change in people’s behaviour and practices to improve on-ground environmental outcomes and
- build people’s skills to deliver environmental outcomes.
The program funds projects that:
- work with their target audience to co-design and pilot engagement strategies
- create effective strategic partnerships that strengthen project outcomes
- measure and demonstrate the impact of their project activities.
Who can apply?
The following not-for-profit organisations are eligible to apply for funding:
- incorporated associations, community organisations, and non-profit organisations
- non-commercial cooperatives
- state government agencies and statutory committees
- councils
- universities
- regional organisations of councils
- NSW local Aboriginal land councils
- registered NSW Aboriginal Corporations
- other local government-controlled organisations
- companies limited by guarantee.
Funding available
The total annual allocation for the program is $1,000,000.
Applications close at 5 pm on 11 November 2025.
