Landcarers with an interest in birds may be interested in the Key Biodiversity Area (KBA) Guardians project. For this citizen science project volunteers carry out health checks of key areas each Easter, providing valuable snapshots of the threats and conservation actions in the KBA. KBA Guardians don’t need to be bird experts – in fact, anyone with an interest in the environment is encouraged to bring their skills to become a KBA Guardian.
This is an exciting opportunity to help save many of our special birds and identify nature’s hotspots.
