There are a wide range of resources available to assist Landcare groups in their day to day running. Below we have provided a range of resources that have been developed through the NSW Landcare Support Program and links to other externally produced resources that may be useful.

Westpac has put together this publications to support the financial literacy of community groups.

NSW Landcare Support Newsletters

The NSW Landcare Support Team is releasing newsletters about the progress in the NSW Landcare Support program and the NSW Landcare Gateway.

Our Community Policy Bank

A range of free policies and procedures relevant to not-for-profit boards and committees and the organisations they govern.

Victorian Landcare Gateway

The Victorian Landcare Gateway has a great range of Landcare stories and resources and is well worth a visit.

In Safe Hands Toolkit

The 3rd Edition of the In Safe Hands Toolkit is now available. The Toolkit is a user friendly safety management system for community groups. This is currently being made available FREE by Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA). CVA is supported by the Australian Government to assist community groups with their safety management.

Social Media Tools

Landcare Australia has available a “Social Media Manual for Groups” and a “National Landcare Webinar – Grow your social media skills” on their social media tools page. You can also learn how to put a “Landcare Twibbon” onto your Twitter or Facebook profile picture.

ClubInfo – office bearer roles, induction kit templates, policy templates

Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) – established by the Commonwealth Government, the ACNC is dedicated to improving governance of non-profit organisations.

Institute of Community Directors – information, tools, training and qualifications for Australian not-for-profit boards.

Justice Connect – free and low cost legal information, training, phone advice and referrals to specialist pro bono lawyers at member law firms (previously PilchConnect).
