Join Trees In Newcastle and Belmont Wetlands State Park Trust for a hands-on workshop exploring gardening with local native plants.

Participants will learn about the importance of knowing their soil, choosing the right plant for the right place, creating habitat for local flora and fauna and correct planting techniques.

Trees In Newcastle boasts a 28-year history enhancing natural areas and backyards in the region. This workshop is an opportunity to share some local knowledge with our community, and begin the next step of our exciting journey!

Please wear a hat and enclosed shoes and bring your own water bottle. Light lunch provided
