BRING BACK WATAGAN CREEK WOODY WEED WORKSHOP

WATAGAN CREEK SATURDAY 13TH MAY FROM 10AM

RSVP by Sunday 7 May.

Numbers are limited.

First in best dressed.

Bridge works are planned for Watagan Creek.

Bus service provided by Council. Details on receipt of RSVP.

On Saturday 13th May from 10am, Wollombi Landcare will hold a Woody Weeds Workshop in Watagan Creek Road. This will be far more than learning to identify weeds; you will learn about

native species including the beautiful water gums and Lillypillies plus introduced plants that have become a problem, particularly along the banks of the creek and importantly how to

eradicate privet, blackberry, Cape Ivy, wild tobacco, green Cestrum, Japanese honeysuckle and others. Bring along your own weeds of concern for discussion. Here is a great opportunity that

will lead to the effective eradication of difficult weeds.

All property owners are welcome. While specifically for Watagan creekers all property owners in the Wollombi – Laguna area are invited.

The location will be provided on receipt of an RSVP (please advise contact details and property address if possible) by email to wollombi.landcare@gmail.com or RSVP on Facebook at

@wollombivalleylandcare where updates will be available shortly.

The workshop will be followed by lunch so please RSVP ASAP. See you at the workshop!
